Kyushu Plain

Kyushu, plainly.

From someone who grew up in Fukuoka.

Most English guides to Kyushu are written by people who spent four days here. This one is written from the other side. I grew up in Fukuoka and still go back, and everything here is checked against the operators' own pages before it is published.

What that changes is not the list of places. It is the twenty minutes you lose at a ticket machine, the reserved train that sold out two weeks ago, and the shuttle bus that starts later than the trains do. Every time and fare here carries its source and the date it was checked. Where a number could not be confirmed, the page says so instead of guessing.
